Patricia Dauterive

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2007, at St. Peter Catholic Church, in New Iberia for Patricia Burke Dauterive, 89, who died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Charles Langlois, pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church will be the Celebrant. Born on July 13, 1917, Mrs. Dauterive is a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel Academy and Normal College, in Natichitoches. Survivors include her sons, Edward A. Dauterive, III and wife Judy of New Iberia, Donald Robert Dauterive of Austin, TX, Pat Dauterive and wife Debra of New Iberia; daughter, Elizabeth Ruth Pharr and husband John T. Pharr of New Iberia; brother, Dracous D. Burke of New Iberia; sister, Elizabeth B. Larroque of Jeanerette; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Dauterive, Jr.; parents, Donald Robert and Celeste Dimitry Burke; brother, Donald Burke; two great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia, Friday, from 8:30 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM Friday. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Patrick Dauterive, Jr., Eddie Dauterive, V, James Dauterive, John Pharr, Michael Pharr, and Paul Dauterive.
