St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, June 7, 2010, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Patricia Taylor Lambert, 50, who passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Iberia Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Reading the scriptures will be Angela Joseph, Toni Stewart and Lorena Thibodeaux. Gift bearers will be Anthony, Sarah and Precious Stewart and Delandra Taylor. Patricia attended St. Martinville Senior High and was a volunteer at Notre Dame School for many years helping children. Survivors include her husband, Patrick Lambert, Sr.; her mother, Anthonia W. Taylor; her sons, Patrick Lambert, Jr. and Netron Lambert; her daughter, Althea Mae Lambert, all of St. Martinville; her brothers, Preston Taylor, Sr., Lloyd P. Taylor, Jr., Eugene J. Taylor all of St. Martinville, Gerald J. Taylor of Port Arthur, TX and Anthony P. Taylor, Sr. of New Iberia; her sisters, Mandolia T. Joseph of St. Martinville, Goldie M. Wiltz of Houston, TX, Delores George of New Orleans, Gerdie Polite of New Iberia and Mary Alice Cook of Baytown, TX; her grandchildren, Alysia Marie Lambert, Phyigara Lanae Lambert and Areinna Patrice Lambert; also a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd P. Taylor, Sr.; sister, Althea Mae Taylor, brother, Joseph 'Weasel' Taylor, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Gertie Wiltz and paternal grandparents, Rufus and Harriett Marshall. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Willis S. Ledet, Willie L. Lambert, Paul Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Jr. and Harold Joseph, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Stewart, Anthony Taylor, Sr., John Johnson and Roy Charles. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
