Patricia Breaux Verret

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Patricia Verret, 66, who passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, in Maurice. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Msgr. Richard Greene will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Ms. Verret was a 1966 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Thomas "Chuck" Verret, Jr. of Katy, Texas, Andrew "Drew" Verret and wife Jenna of Maurice, Bethany Collins and husband Jason of Youngsville; mother, Shirley Landry Breaux of New Iberia; grandchildren, Crystal Breaux, Amber Thomas, Allison Verret, Zachary Verret, Emily Verret, Tyler Collins, Hannah Collins, Layla Collins; great-grandchildren, Emma Cessac, Alaynah Breaux, Mason Breaux; brothers, John Carroll "Busky" Breaux and wife Charlotte of New Iberia, David Breaux and wife Susan of New Iberia, Lynn Breaux and wife Christine of New Iberia, Lee Breaux and wife Linda of New Iberia, Michael Breaux and wife Tanya of Dayton,Washington, Gaston Breaux and Debi of Woodstock, Georgia; sister, Shirley Breaux Armand and husband Mike of New Iberia, Georgia Breaux Marie and husband Ray of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her father, John Carroll Breaux. Pallbearers will be Jason Collins, Jason Breaux, David "Chip" Breaux, Mickie Marie, Dean Broussard, and Gaston Breaux.
