New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Patrick Edgar Courts, Jr, 44, who passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Youngsville. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, in Loreauville. Rev. Buddy Breaux will officiate. Born on October 6, 1965 in New Iberia, Patrick worked as a computer technician. He enjoyed helping everyone, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Patrick E. Courts, Sr. of New Iberia; mother, Mary Linda Segura Courts of New Iberia; grandmother, Eliza 'Zeze' Prados Segura of Loreauville; son, Patrick E. Courts, III of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Alanna C. Courts of Tulsa, OK; sister, Janet Courts Romero and husband David of New Iberia; step daughters, Heather Darby, Meghan Darby, and Jamie Darby all of Lafayette; nephews, Jared Gachassin, Jace Gachassin, and Drake Patrick Romero all of New Iberia; former wife, Madeline J. Darby of Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Trahan Deslatte, Relius Deslatte, Whitney 'Bic' Segura; cousins, Bridget Henson, Lindsay Segura; aunt, Louella Segura Boutte. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
