Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, December 10, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Patrick Darby, 42, who died Wednesday, December 7, 2005. Entombment will be in St. Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville. Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Wright Darby of Arnaudville; his fianc?e, Shelly Landry, and her children, Sydni and Hannah of Arnaudville; his brother, Edwin Paul Darby and his wife, Millie Calais Darby of Lafayette; and his sisters, Phyllis Stelly and her husband, Lloyd, Margaret Martin, and Joan Miller and her husband, Ken, all of Arnaudville. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Darby; his maternal grandparents, Ella and Frank Wright; and his paternal grandparents, Marie and Felix Darby. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Luke Martin, Frankie Martin, Paul Darby, Josh Gardemal, Chris Guidroz, Ian Darby, Rusty Miller, and Scott Guidroz. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Miller and Marty Thibodeaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
