Patsy Marie Ray

Cecilia - Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, on Monday, December 5, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Patsy L. Ray, 72, who passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 9:45am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Garrett Savoie will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers will be Shayree Latiolais and Gena Landry Purpera. Gift bearers will be her granddaughters, Kimi Braus, Kae Angelle and Tori Robin. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Patsy had such a generous and loving soul. She would always give to anyone that needed. Patsy enjoyed cooking, music, and being with her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Jackie Latiolais, her sister-in-law; her caregivers, Carlpreshia, Shantrell, Nicole, and April; and her hospice nurses, Hollie and Doug, for the care given to Patsy. She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Ray; daughters, Dana Angelle and husband Kim and Christina "Tina" Robin and husband Chris; son, Chuck Ray and wife LaFree; brothers, Wiley Latiolais and wife Jackie and Lonnie Luke Latiolais and wife Shayree; grandchildren, Kimi Braus and husband Damon, Kay Angelle, Tori Robin, Gage Robin, Brylan Ray, and Collin Ray; and great grandchildren, Addi and Evan Braus. She was preceded in death her parents, Walmette and Marie Legrand Latiolais; an infant twin brother, John Latiolais; and her sister, Judy Guidry. Pallbearers will be Chuck Ray, Gage Robin, Brylan Ray, Chris Robin, Kim Angelle, and Damon Braus. Honorary pallbearer will be Collin Ray.
