Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Patty Haydel Thibodeaux, 62, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until time of service on Wednesday.
A rosary will be prayed at 12:45 pm on Wednesday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Mary Richard and Courtney Brennan.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Patty was born May 20, 1957 in Monroe, LA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Patty's grandchildren were her pride and joy and she cherished each moment spent with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Katy Brennan and husband Pat; son, Jason Domingue and wife Brooke; grandchildren, Briggs Brennan, Connley Brennan, Cole Domingue, Allie Domingue, and Cade Domingue; sisters, Denise Clark and husband Rusty, Sherryl Couvillion and husband John, and Micki Lineberger and husband Van; and one brother, Larry Haydel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Erma "Janette" Oliff Haydel.
Pallbearers will be Jason Domingue, Cole Domingue, Pat Brennan, Mark Richard, Rusty Clark, and Bryan Couvillion.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Acadian Hospice, the staff at University Medical Center of Lafayette and New Orleans, and the many friends and relatives who cared and supported Patty during her time in need.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made in Patty's name to Acadian Hospice.
