Paul Allen Calais, Sr.

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Paul Allen Calais, Sr., 83, who died Friday, February 3, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include his wife, Sable Wills Calais of Cecilia; two sons, Paul Allen Calais, Jr. and his wife, Julie of Cecilia and Ronnie Calais and his wife, Tina of Breaux Bridge; one step-son, Carrol Bergeron of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Dolly C. Trahan and her husband, Kerney of Baton Rouge, and Paula C. Begnaud and her husband, Tommy of Cecilia; two step-daughters, Kate Roy and her husband, Louis of Cecilia and Mary Bellard of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Lorraine Pontiff of Parks and Lena Cormier of Cecilia; one brother, Rene' Calais of Breaux Bridge; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Stella Dugas Calais; his first wife, Ophelia Guidry Calais; his son, Burt LeBlanc; his step-son, Mickey Bergeron; his step-daughter, Barbara Lemaire; seven brothers, Shirley, Wade, Joe, Wilton, Sidney, Clay, and Louis Calais; and four sisters, Louise Calais, Cecile Calais, Marie Guilbeau and Agnes LeBlanc. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 12 Noon ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 9:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Calais, Paul Allen Calais, Jr., Rene' Calais, Carrol Bergeron, Kerney Trahan, and Tommy Begnaud. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
