Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Paul David Kainer, 51, who passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until the time for the services.Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate. Readers will be Barry Latiolais and Marelle Yongue.Paul was a loving son, a caring brother and a selfless person who enjoyed the outdoors. Born in Breaux Bridge, Paul was an avid fisherman and worked with his twin brother, James, in his lawn service business, always having his best friend and companion, Franco, by his side.Paul is survived by his mother, Frances Yongue Kellner; his father, Edward L Kainer (Ginger) of Houston, Texas; his twin brother, James Buchanan Kainer; his nephew Jack Kainer and nieces, Gini and Maddie Kainer of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his uncles Paul Yongue (Penny) and Ricky Yongue; his aunts Marelle (Gary) Schoelerman and Susie (Mike) Hackett.Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Yongue; his paternal grandparents Lester and Lorene Kainer; his brothers John Edward Kainer and Michael Jerome Kainer; his uncles Daniel Yongue, John Yongue, Tommy Yongue, Jimmy Yongue and Jerome Kainer.Pallbearers are James Kainer, Travis Sam, Jomario Lewis, Paul Yongue, Ricky Yongue and Jimmy Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Schoelerman, Mike Hackett and Doug Cochrane.
