Paul Gary

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Our lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Delcambre, for Paul Otto Gary, 84, who died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at his residence in Coteau. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Fr. Herb Bennerfield, pastor of Our Lady of the Lady Catholic Church will be the Celebrant. A retired house painter, Mr. Gary enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing cards, and rooster fighting. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Malone Gary of Coteau; son, Terry Gary and wife Jill of Coteau; daughters, Patricia Westmoreland and husband Joseph ?BeBo? of Crestview, Florida, Jeanette Gary and companion Mackie Boudreaux of Coteau, and Linda Gary Hebert and fianc?e Richard Howell of New Iberia; brother, Edwin Gary of Breaux Bridge; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Azena Masson Gary; brothers, Louis, Wilton, and Francis; sisters, Aline Shults, Amelia McDonald, Emilda Lauer, and Anna Dugas. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, May 19, 2006 from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM, at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia, and will continue Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Friday Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jacy Paul Gary, Jory Dell Gary, Kim Hebert, Jr. Richard Howell, Mackie Boudreaux, and Joseph Westmoreland.
