Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Paul Antoine Green, 72, who passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Chelsea Broussard. Gift Bearers will be Virgie and Carmelite Green. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Repass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall. Mr. Green was a truck driver for many years - 30 years in the sugarcane industry in St. Martin Parish and the last 20 years with Melancon Farms. He is survived by his son, Anthony Nicholas; five daughters, Hazel (Herbert) Joseph, Sandra (Joseph) Davis, Saraphine Green, Rebecca (Nelson) Sylvester, and Felicia Fontenette; his brother, Louis Edward (Virgie) Green; 13 grandchildren, Natius Joseph, Meagan Green, Joshua Davis, Kyle Davis, Simone Davis, Deion Davis, Donovan Green, Niyi Green, Brittany Payne, Jordanna Green, Seth Green, Eliza and Alex Sylvester; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iola Green; his parents, Abraham and Hazel Franks Green; and a grandchild, Javona Green. Pallbearers will be Alton Berard, Clovis Sylvester, Donald Jean-Louis, McKinley Demouchet, Darrel Martinez, and Anthony Demouchet. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
