Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Paul Antoine "Broad" LaGrange, 78, who passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville on Friday, May 24, 2013, beginning at 5:30 pm and continuing until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Jennifer Artigue and Barbara Hebert. Gift Bearers will be Alaini and Oriana Quebedeaux, Beatrice Stelly, Jaime Willingham, and Danielle Beeson. Music will be provided by Randy Hebert. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. 'Broad,' as he was better known to his family and friends, was retired from C.F. Bean, where he worked as a welder for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Alice Richard LaGrange of Arnaudville; three daughters, Tonia (Brian) Quebedeaux, Lisa (Keith) Johnson, all of Arnaudville, and Cindy LaGrange (Mark Stegall) of Gonzales; nine grandchildren, Gregory Schexnayder, Jeremy Frederick, Jaime (Jeremy) Willingham, Danielle (Ryan) Beeson, Derek (Simone) Johnson, Randall Johnson, Alaini Quebedeaux, Oriana Quebedeaux, and Hunter Johnson; two great grandchildren, Slaiden Willingham and Hannah Johnson; and his godchild, Erika McCauley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lelia Hebert LaGrange; a daughter, Marie Frederick; five brothers, Lloyd, Wilbert, Irving, Henry, and Rudolph LaGrange; two sisters, Laura Toby and Rita Smith; and a granddaughter, Kayra Lynn Frederick. Pallbearers will be Gregory Schexnayder, Jeremy Frederick, Derek Johnson, Randall Johnson, Hunter Johnson, and Mark Patin, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Quebedeaux, Keith Johnson, Herbert 'Cafa' Hebert, and Mark Stegall.
