Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Paul ""Snick"" Lewis, 89, who passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008 at MeadowBrook Hospital, in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Fr. James Fallon, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Mr. Lewis enjoyed being with people, especially at the daycare center. Survivors include one brother, LeRoy Lewis, of Houston, TX; one sister, Enola Abraham, of Breaux Bridge; his special caregivers, Estella and Emile Henry, and Gerald and Shirley Alexander, all of Breaux Bridge; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Laurenzia Lewis; his brothers, Walter Lewis, Clarence Lewis, Sr., Allen Lewis, and John Allen Lewis; and his sisters, Noelie LeBlanc and Eva Alexander. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Abraham, Jr., John Darrell Abraham, Andrew LeBlanc, Hayward Lewis, Emile Henry, and Donald James Abraham. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
