Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Paul Wayne Patin, 67, who passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Fr. Brian Webre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Michelle Guilbeau and Janine Usie. Gift Bearers will be Saylor Patin and Regan Patin. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Patin was born on April 8, 1949 in Breaux Bridge to Patrick and Madge Guidry Patin. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working overseas, watching television, going to the casino, spending time on his houseboat, and attending gatherings with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Renee Patin of Breaux Bridge; his son, Chuck Patin of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Patrick Roland Patin and wife, Eula, and Connie Patin and wife, Cheryl, all of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren, Kade Theriot, Casey Patin, Gage Patin, Juel Patin, Brannon Thibodeaux, Kale Patin, Saylor Patin, Ashton Theriot, Laike Theriot, Regan Patin, and Ryker Patin; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vida Alice Guilbeau Patin; his son, Harvey James Patin; and two brothers, Harvey and Teddy Patin. Pallbearers will be Kade Theriot, Casey Patin, Juel Patin, Kale Patin, Rylan Hebert, and Mike Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Patin, Gage Patin, Carey Patin, Troy Patin, Ryan Patin, Brock Patin, Matthew Hebert, Brennon Thibodeaux, and Pearly Dupuis.
