Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Paul Frederick Roberts, 76, who passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until 10:15 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Roberts was a Mason all of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cooking with his brother, John. He will be remembered for his unconditional love and selfless acts as a father. He is survived by his daughters, Paula Steele and companion, Larris Guidry, and Diana DelaCruz and companion, Brent Brasseaux, all of Cecilia; his sons, Clifford Roberts of Cecilia and companion, Stacie Smith of Mississippi, Bryan Roberts and companion, Melanie Leon of Breaux Bridge, and Kyle Roberts and wife, Connie of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Trey Steele, Tyler Steele, Lacy Rae Aucoin, Kelsie Roberts, Brilie Roberts, Landon Roberts, twins Logan and Maddox Roberts; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Steele, Kaden Frederick, Cade Bayham, and Ta'Liyah Collins; and his brother, John C. Roberts, Sr. and wife Johnnie of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by parents, Chester Jean and Monique Guilbeau Roberts; his beloved wife of 53 years, Eloise Spinner Roberts; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Roberts; and his son-in-law, Suli DelaCruz. Pallbearers will be Clifford Roberts, Bryan Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Trey Steele, Tyler Steele, and Landon Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be John C. Roberts Sr. and John C.
