Paul Stephen Schexnayder

Henderson - A Memorial Service ;will be held at ;2 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2009, ;at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Paul Stephen Schexnayder, 68, who passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Inurnment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Father Gary "Mac" Schexnailder will officiate at the Memorial Service. "Hot" as he was better known by his family and friends, enjoyed horseback riding and having a good time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include his companion, Anita Stelly, of Cecilia; his daughter, Stephanie Schexnayder and her companion, Steven O'Brien, of Henderson; his former wife, Genevieve Devillier Schexnayder and her companion, Lloyd Melancon, of Henderson; four brothers, Fr. Gary "Mac" Schexnailder, of Crowley, Ivy "Tye" Schexnailder, of Lafayette, Earl Schexnailder, of Lafayette, and Dale "Doc" Schexnailder, of Arnaudville; one sister, Gloria Richard, of Lafayette; his mother-in-law, Alice Devillier, of Henderson; and five grandchildren, Carise Robert, Justin O'Brien, Olivia O'Brien, Kandice McGee, and Dalaney Dumatrait He was preceded in death by his parents, Yves and Florence Guidry Schexnayder.
