Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Paul Frederick "Polo" Williams, a resident of Breaux Bridge and Houston, TX, who died on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at his family's home in Breaux Bridge.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
Born on December 3, 1972, he was the second-to-youngest son of five children born to the late Jessie and Georgiana Thibodeaux Williams.
"Polo," as he was better known to his family and friends, loved to cut hair and always enjoyed a good hardy meal.
He leaves to mourn his passing a son, Darian Dequincy Ledet; two brothers, Kevin Williams and wife, Angela, of Port Arthur, TX, and Patrick Williams and his wife, Natasha, of Lafayette; two sisters, Kimberly W. Tolliver and husband, Harold, of Breaux Bridge, and Tekear Thibodeaux Thomas-Ponce and her husband, Eddie, of Broussard, and eight nieces and nephews.
He leaves in God's gentle loving care, his grandfather, Joseph Thibodeaux; his great uncle, Percy Thibodeaux; four uncles, Jessie Thibodeaux, Wilbert Thibodeaux and wife, Wendy, Whitney Thibodeaux, and Joseph Anthony Thibodeaux and fianc, Pamela Alexander; three aunts, Linda Gordon and husband, Iron II, Della Angelle and husband, Carol, and Norma Calais and husband, John. He also leaves to mourn his eight nieces and nephews, Jordan Portier, Terrell Lee Noel, Tyliah Mona Williams, Angel Maria Williams, Hope Ashlyh Williams, Trent Joseph Tolliver, Taliyah Lana Thomas-Ponce, and Tamiyah Alyssa Thomas-Ponce; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Georgiana T. Williams; his maternal grandmother, Marjrie Mae Celestine Thibodeaux; his paternal grandparents, Willie and Bertha Williams; and his niece, Hailey Williams.
