Paula Calais Begnaud

Cecilia - A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia for Paula Anne Calais Begnaud, 52, who died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at her residence. Pastor Bill Inman of Cecilia Baptist Church will conduct the service. She was member of Cecilia Baptist Church. Paula was a great cook and enjoyed gardening - she had a general love for people and especially caring for her husband, "Moss" and her three loving children. She was known for having a servant attitude and dedication to serving her Lord and was always praying for others who were in need of prayer. Survivors include her husband, Tommy "Moss" Begnaud; her daughters, Mignon Begnaud, Dominique Begnaud; her son, Jonah Begnaud, all of Cecilia; her brothers, Paul Allen Calais, Jr. of Cecilia, Ronnie L. Calais of Breaux Bridge; and her sister, Dolly C. Trahan of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ophelia Guidry Calais; her father, Paul Allen Calais, Sr.; and her brother, Burton Calais LeBlanc. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
