Pauline Huval Guidry

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Mrs. Stanley (Pauline Huval) Guidry, 89, who died Friday, February 9, 2007 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. The Reverend Chanh Nguyen will be officiating the services. ?Nieces, Charlene LeBlanc and Maria Brady will read for the services. Gift bearers will be nieces, Gigi Harris and Renella Landry. ? Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mausoleum. On Sunday, February 4, Pauline and Stanley celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. ?Pauline was a loving wife, and a very wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews. ?She was devoted to her Catholic faith and to her husband, Stanley. ?She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved flowers and enjoyed working in her beautiful yard. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley and by one brother, Ossie Huval. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Azelima Angelle Huval; her sisters, Mae Zeringue, Ollie Huval, and Jeanne LeBlanc; and one brother, Agnel ""Fra"" Huval. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. Pallbearers will be, Allen Blanchard, Jr., Ty Landry, Jack Ray, Barney LeBlanc, Jeb Huval, Ike Huval, and Kelly LeBlanc. The family would like to thank Fr. Chanh Nguyen, Dr. Warren Degatur, St. Agnes Nursing Home and the special staff at St. Martin Hospital for their special attention to Pauline and Stanley.
