Pauline "Thib" Lasseigne

Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Pauline "Thib" Lasseigne, 87, who passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Acadia General Hospital.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia beginning on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at 10:00 am. The funeral home will remain open all night until 10:30 am on Wednesday morning. 

A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evening by Deacon Ken Soignier.

Father Michael Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in Henderson. 

Pauline was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson. She was an amazing cook, but her greatest joy was her family. Pauline was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her sons, Randy Lasseigne (Yola), Bryan Lasseigne (Jody) and Tim Lasseigne (Janet); daughters, Katie Smith (Mike) and Brenda Broussard (Rodney); sister, Rita Pourciaux; grandchildren, Brannon Smith (Terry), Mikka Smith (Cody), Lacy Lasseigne, Tori Lasseigne (Andre'), Trent Lasseigne, Christy Kidder, Brittany Richard (Kasey) and Dylan Lasseigne (Tori); 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalfred Lasseigne; grandchild, Ashley Marie Lasseigne; parents, Adam Robertson and Anne Berard Robertson; brothers, Walmette Latiolais, Sr., Roy Robertson, Howard Robertson, Clifton Robertson and Milton Robertson; and sisters, Irene Melancon and Annette Blanchard.

Pallbearers will be Tim Lasseigne, Bryan Lasseigne, Dylan Lasseigne, Kasey Richard, Brannon Smith and Mark Blanchard. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Lasseigne and Trent Lasseigne.
