Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Pearl Courville, 90, who passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Henderson on Saturday, March 2nd beginning at 9:30 am and continuing until 2:30 pm on Sunday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Saturday. Deacon Perry Guidry will officiate at the funeral service. Scriptures will be read by Kaysha Duplechain and Brittney Savoy. Gift Bearers will be Dainie Collette, Cassie Savoy, Meagan Courville, and Brooklyn and Kiana Savoy. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Mrs. Courville enjoyed working, peeling crawfish, and raising farm animals. She treasured the many times she spent with her family and friends, and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Ricky Courville and his wife, Denise; her daughter, Yvonne Duplechain and her husband, Lanewood; six grandchildren, Dainie Collette and her husband, Kelly, Cassie Savoy and her husband, Kain, Dusty Duplechain and his wife, Kaysha, Dexter Courville, Meagan Courville, and Max Courville; and 8 great grandchildren, Devin Collette, Gavan Savoy, Kiana Savoy, Braylon Collette, Brooklyn Savoy, Peyton Duplechain, Bronx Savoy, and Jayce Collette. She is preceded in death by husband, Julius Courville; her mother, Belizare Johnson; and her brother, Walter Dupuis, Sr. Pallbearers will be Dusty Duplechain, Devin Collette, Kelly Collette, Dexter Courville, Gavan Savoy, and Kain Savoy.
