Breaux Bridge - A Graveside Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 20, 2022, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 Mausoleum in Breaux Bridge for Pedro Angelle, Sr., 97, who passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Graveside Service.
Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Pedro honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of the Army National Guard. He was also a member of the Soil and Water Conservation serving as Chairman, Dairyman Inc., and was the Director of Civil Defense. Pedro was a manager for the Breaux Bridge Sugar Co-op for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and visiting with family and friends. Pedro will be remembered for his dedication to his country, the love for his family, and all the great stories he told at gatherings.
He is survived by his son, Butch Angelle (Yvonne); daughter, Kathleen Angelle McLeod (Bruce); grandchildren, Kathryn "Kate" Thibodeaux (Tahanie), Christian "CC" Bienvenu (Jeff), Jack Angelle (Tasha), Brooke Domingue (Jason), and Kalli Latiolais (Zach); great grandchildren, Christian and Adriana Thibodeaux, Austin, Landon, and Greyson Bienvenu, Ana and Asa Angelle, Cole, Allie and Cade Domingue, and Brinley Latiolais.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrtle Dwyer Angelle; parents, Alphonse and Cecile Castille Angelle, Sr.; brothers, John Angelle, Wade Angelle, Lewis Angelle, and Alphonse Angelle, Jr.; and his sisters, Odile Delahoussaye, Henrietta Begnaud, Luce Champagne, Agnes Landry, Amy Roberts, and Lena Patin.
Pallbearers will be Jack Angelle, Cole Domingue, Asa Angelle, Zack Latiolais, Landon Bienvenu, and Austin Bienvenu.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
