Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Peggy Louise Allen, 68, who passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday. Rev. Blake Dubroc will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Byron Marks and Jeni Dauphin Couvillion. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Peggy loved to paint and has many paintings that expressed her talent as an artist. She enjoyed playing the piano and said that music is beauty to the soul and can heal a broken heart. Peggy will be missed by all of her neighbors, friends, and family. She is survived by her two sons, Robert "Bobby" (Hiney) Allen of Lumberton, TX and Thomas "Tommy" (Caroline) Allen of Brazile; her fiancée, Gary Duhon of Lafayette; her mother, Edna Marks of Lafayette; two brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Marks of Lafayette and Byron (fiancée, Charlene Lemoine) Marks of Lafayette; sister, Catherine "Kathy" (John) Dauphin of Carencro; and her grandchildren, Hailey, Harley and Hudsyn Allen. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Marks; sister, Sandra Ann Marks; and her nephew, Tyler Marks. Pallbearers will be Bobby Allen, Tommy Allen, Ken Marks, Byron Marks, Gary Duhon, and Bart Couvillion..
