VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Peggy Ann Landry, 56, who passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at her residence in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Keith Landry will conduct the services. Readers and Gift Bearers will be members of the YaYa Club. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her husband, Mr. James of 37 years and her children and daughter in law. She liked to cook, read, and was very good at trivia games. She was a people person and worked at Piggly Wiggly for 17 years. She was also a member of the YaYa Club. Survivors include her mother, Rita Courville of Henderson; her husband, James Landry of Cecilia; her sons Kyle F. Landry of Cecilia and Scott J. Landry and his wife, Amy of Arnaudville; her brothers, Terry Courville and his wife, Charleen of Cecilia and Neal Courville and his wife, Tinsle of Maurice; and her sister, Gail Boudreaux and her husband, Lester of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Courville; her brothers, Glenn Courville and Robert Courville; her paternal grandparents, Pierre and Elvier Courville; and her maternal grandparents, Frank and Adair Dugas Lajaunie. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 6:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Kyle and Scott Landry, Terry and Neal Courville, Braylan Landry and Brandon Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Courville, Earl Landry, Jr. and Jerrod Courville. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
