Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Peggy Sue Babineaux Theriot, 54, who passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Keenan W. Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Julie Castille and Blaine Castille. Gift Bearers will be Vickie Ganucheau and Shirley Babineaux. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Peggy enjoyed volunteering and helping others in need - she often volunteered her time at St. Teresas in Arnaudville. She loved working and shopping. Peggys fondest times were those spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Theriot of Arnaudville; her mother, Felecie Guilbeau Babineaux of Arnaudville; three sons, Joshua Theriot and girlfriend, Krista Vercher, and their baby on the way, Khylan Theriot; Kyle Theriot and wife, Jessie, of Leonville; and Aaron Theriot of Arnaudville; one brother, Stoney Babineaux and wife, Shirley, of Arnaudville; and her grandson, Parker Theriot. She is preceded in death by her father, Euphement Babineaux. Pallbearers will be Joshua Theriot, Kyle Theriot, Aaron Theriot, Stoney Babineaux, Abby Thibodeaux, and Audie Trahan.
