Penny McNeal

Breaux Bridge - A gathering of family and friends will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday, December 2, 2017 for Penny McNeal, 69, who passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday. Penny enlisted in the United States Womens Army Corps on August 25, 1969 and was honorably discharged on July 16, 1971. She was known to often and freely express her opinion on various matters. As a pastime, she enjoyed gardening and reading and she especially loved spending time with her dogs. Penny is survived by her son, Kenneth Humphries of Ohio; her close friends, Bobby Sue and Charles Thurmond of Breaux Bridge and Deborah and Al Smith of Lafayette; and her Friends of Lafourche Road; Scotty and Liz Cahanin, Kenneth and Brenda Arnaud, Leah and Brian Griffin, Kellie and Lane Trahan, and Heather and Michael Courville, all of Breaux Bridge. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Ardith Seaman McNeal. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the: American Cancer Society or to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
