Perry Borel

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Perry Borel, 74, who died Monday, December 25, 2006 at his residence. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Mr. Borel was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Theriot Borel of St. Martinville; his mother, Essie C. Barras of St. Martinville; his sons, Edwin J. Borel, Dean J. Borel and his wife, Cathy, and Frank J. Borel, all of Catahoula; his daughter, Janice M. Debnam of Iowa, LA; his sisters, Patsy Laperouse and Loritta Barras, both of Catahoula; nine grandchildren, Brandy Perdikis of Arnaudville, Brad Debnam of Cecilia, Kim Delahoussaye of Parks, Coy Borel, Kaylie Borel, Cody Borel, Lane Borel, Frankie Borel, and Mollie Borel, all of Catahoula; and three great grandchildren, Amber Delahoussaye, Alex Perdikis and Zachary Perdikis. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Borel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue until time of service on Wednesday.
