New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia in New Iberia, for Peter Boutte, 90, who passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday. Rev. Kevin Williams will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Mr. Boutte proudly served out country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW and a life member of the Disabled Veterans. Mr. Boutte enjoyed fishing, going eat out at restaurants, and loved spending time with his cats. He is survived by his cousins, Don Louviere, Sr. and spouse Janice of New Iberia, LA, Mary Landry of Loreauville, Barbara Broussard and spouse Alan of Loreauville, Betty Darby and spouse Wilton of Loreauville; caregiver, Ruthine Daniel of Lydia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Edna Boutte; one sister, Rita Boutte Stokes. Pallbearers will be Alan Broussard, Steve Broussard, Reynolds Landry, Logan Louviere, John D. Darby, and Rick Hoyt.
