Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, 10:30 am at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Phillip B. Barber, 67, who passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday. 

Elder Joseph Williams will officiate the Memorial Service.  Inurnment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

Phillip was born on February 7, 1957, in Lafayette. Phillip enjoyed riding his bike along scenic routes, feeling the wind on his face as he embraced the beauty of nature. Cooking was another one of his joys - he found solace and creativity in the kitchen, often whipping up mouth-watering dishes that brought joy to all who were lucky enough to taste them. Phillip will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary Ann Barber; sons, Fetchtral Gabriel and Courtney Barber; step-sons, Timothy Castille, Wilbert Castille and Frederick Castille; step-daughters, Lenora Ledet, Mary Castille and Laurie Stafford; sister, Yolanda Perrot; and his grandchildren, Dakyree Williams and Lori Castille; uncle, Henry Gobar.

He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip B. Perrot; mother, Mary Laura Barber; maternal grandparents, Ernest Johnson and Irene Barber; and his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Gertrude Gobar Perrot, Sr.
