Phillip J Espinoza

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 27, 2023 at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Phillip J Espinoza, 49, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at Calcutta House (Hospice of Acadiana). 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM on Friday.

Father John Joesph Bourque will officiate at the funeral service. 

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Phillip was born on February 7, 1974 in New Iberia. He participated in The Arc of St.Martin, where he formed strong bonds with friends and staff who became family to him. One of Phillip's great joys in life was watching Batman. Food held a special place in Phillip's heart, particularly hotdogs. 

Therapeutic activities and outings played an important role in Phillip's life. They provided him with moments of respite and allowed him to explore the beauty of the world. Dancing was another of Phillip's passions. Whether it was in the comfort of his own home or at social gatherings, he would move to the rhythm with grace and joy. His infectious energy lit up the dance floor, inspiring others to let loose and embrace the music.

He was a cherished individual who lived his life to the fullest and brought joy to those around him. Throughout his years, he touched the lives of countless individuals with his compassionate nature and infectious smile. Phillip's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
