Phillip 'T-Sue' Roberts

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Phillip Martin "T-Sue" Roberts, 61, who passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 1:45 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Ann Lowrey and Gift Bearers will be Sgt. Hillary Roberts and Carly Duplechin. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. "T-Sue", as he was known to everyone, owned and operated T-Sue's Bakery in Henderson for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, honorably serving his country in the United States Air Force. T-Sue was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, going to the camp, and cooking. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, and most especially his faithful customers. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Berard Roberts; two daughters, Sgt. Hillary Roberts and Carly Duplechin and her husband, Brock; his brother, Irvin Roberts, Jr.; two sisters, Ann Lowrey and Debbie DeRosier; and his step mother, Odile Roberts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Roberts, Sr. and Betty Claire Patin Roberts. Pallbearers will be Irvin Roberts Jr., Brock Duplechin, David Duplechin, Edward LeBlanc, Rocky Haire, and Dennis Bankert. Honorary pallbearer will be Sgt. Hillary Roberts.
