Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Prenella Ann Brown, 53, who passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Father James Fallon will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Survivors include her daughter, Jackline Brown Johnson and her husband, Kevin, of Lafayette; two brothers, Clarence Brown of Breaux Bridge, and Calvin Jolivette of Lafayette; two sisters, Dorothy Batiste and her husband, Herbert, and Tina Lewis, all of Breaux Bridge; and three grandchildren, Aaron Joseph, Khadijah Joseph, and Bailey Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Mary Luville Ames Brown; a sister, Beverly Ann Brown; three brothers, Melvin Joseph Brown, David Joseph Brown, and Lonnie Jolivette; and a granddaughter, Michella Brown. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
