Priscilla Ann Guidry

February 4, 1941 — April 15, 2012

St. Martinville - St. Martinville- A Memorial Service honoring the life of Priscilla Ann Latiolais Guidry will be held from 10:00 am -1:00 pm on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. Mrs. Priscilla died at her home in St. Martinville, on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 1:45 pm. A native of St. Martinville, Priscilla worked for First Federal Savings and Loan association for 15 years followed by 16 years as Executive Secretary for Builliard Construction Company of St. Martinville, Louisiana. She also worked with Hope Lasseigne Dugas designing and decorating Mardi Gras costumes as a leisure and enjoyable hobby. She also enjoyed painting and gardening. Her greatest enjoyment came from cooking for family gatherings as well as her regular family meals on Sunday. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life and she made every effort to engage in every activity of her awareness. She made every Christmas so special for each and every person in the family. She will be sadly missed, but left each of us with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Priscilla was the wife of Harry John Guidry and was married for 53 wonderful years. She has three sons Keith Guidry, Kevin Guidry and wife, Sheri, and Karl Guidry, all of St. Martinville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caleb Guidry, Victoria Guidry, Jene Bertrand, and Tyler Bertrand, all of St. Martinville, and William Guidry and Jeanne-Marie Guidry, both of Lafayette. Her surviving siblings include, Gerald Latiolais and wife, Louella, of Broussard, Mildred Latiolais Delcambre and husband, Marnel, of Breaux Bridge, Russell Latiolais and wife, Rene, of Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina, and Dennis Latiolais of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Lottie Latiolais of St. Martinville; and her siblings, Willie Latiolais Jr. of New Orleans, Clifford Latiolais of Metairie, Anna Belle Latiolais Unland of Springfield, La., Patrick Latiolais of Broussard, and Robert Latiolais of Lake Tahoe, California.
