Quy Van Nguyen

Henderson - Quy Van Nguyen, 56, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Henderson on Saturday, January 9, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Quy was employed by Guidry's Catfish Processors in Henderson for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, and spending time with his family and friends. Quy will be sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and everyone who befriended him. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Roxanna Nguyen, of Henderson; one son, Jason Q. Nguyen, of New Iberia; one daughter, Thi H. K. Simon and her husband, Christopher, of Arnaudville; and four grandchildren, Alana, Andrew, Alissa, and Jaelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Van Thai Tran and Huynh Thi Long, and two brothers. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
