New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ralph Carline, 80, who passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017, in New Iberia. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Keith Landry will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A native of Loreauville, Mr. Carline was born on August 7, 1937 to the late Emmette and Carnelia Daigle Carline. He retired as a production supervisor from Texaco after 37 years of service, and served our country in the National Guard. Mr. Carline enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his sons, Brent Carline and wife Nancy of New Iberia, Scott Carline and fiance' Donna Davis of Houston, TX, Brian Carline and wife Paula of Richmond, TX; daughter, Monica Pilman and husband Michael of Village Of Nagog Woods, MA; grandchildren, Michael James Pilman and spouse Ronnie Pilman, Matthew Paul Carline, Jessica Carline, Jennifer Carline, Zachery Carline, Jacob Carline; twin great grandchildren, Cullin Carline, and Connor Carline; brother-in-law, Michael Barrilleaux of New Iberia; and sister-in-law, Linda Daigle of Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Barrilleaux Carline, sisters, Julia Pointer, Jeanette Wisdom, Joyce Rebert, brothers, Emmett Carline, Jr., Roy Carline, and Ronnie Carline. Pallbearers will be Jacob Carline, Zachary Carline, Matthew Carline, Michael Pilman, Brent Carline, Brian Carline, and Scott Carline.
