VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella for Randal Dore, 58, who died Saturday, August 1, 2009. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery, in Jeanerette. Rev. Donovan Labbe will be the Celebrant. Matthew Smith and Phillip Smith will proclaim the readings. Gift Bearers include Brooke Verret, Messina Schales, and Roxanne Landry. Born on August 21, 1950, Mr. Dore worked for McIhenny Company for over 38 years. A member of the Rynella Knights of Columbus Council No. 7050, he loved to play baseball and was a past president of the Iberia Youth Junior Baseball Association and the Rynella Ballpark Association. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Terrell Dore of Rynella; mother, Lona LeBlanc Dore of Rynella; daughters, Stephanie Leleux and husband Skip of Rynella, Valerie Hebert and husband Seth of Rynella; brother, Kimmy Dore of Avery Island; sisters, Messina Schales and husband Scott of Rynella, Roxanne Landry and husband David of Rynella; grandchildren, Jack Leleux, Ethan Leleux, Ella Hebert, Kali Larson, Carter Leleux, and Owen Hebert. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Dore; his son, Byron Terrell Dore; father-in-law, Joseph R. Terrell; mother-in-law, Mercedes Terrell. Pallbearers include Skip Leleux, Seth Hebert, Kimmy Dore, John Terrell, Lonnie Myers, and Michael Smith. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Monday.
