Randy James Carpenter

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Randy James Carpenter, 47, who died Sunday, January 14, 2007. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Randy enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on cars. He loved joking and visiting with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother and step father, Joyce and Victor Credeur of Rayne; his companion, Violet Hebert of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Nicole Mary Hebert of Lafayette; his brother, Richard Carpenter of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Agnes Ardoin of Kaplan, Amie Jeansonne of Houston, TX, Addie Carpenter, Sally Stelly, both of Breaux Bridge, and Alidia Bertrand of Rayne; his grandchild, Logan Brouno of Cecilia; his step sisters, Peggy Williams of Rayne, Betty Lepine of Westwego, and Rose Murphy of Rayne; his step brothers, John Ray Credeur of Breaux Bridge, Joseph Credeur of Mire, Ricky Credeur and Edmond Credeur, both of Rayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Carpenter; his wife, Tina Carpenter; his brother, Joseph Roy Carpenter; his sister, Judith Carpenter Viator; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Richard; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Carpenter; and his grandson, Davin Michael Brouno. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:30 p.m. on Monday and continue until time of service on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
