Randy 'Pop' John LeGrand

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, July 31, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Randy "Pop" J. LeGrand, 60, who passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Travis LeGrand and Leslie Chandler. Gift bearers will be Jana Boudreaux, Gabrielle Dugas, and Grasey Chandler. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Randy, better known as Pop, was a crane operator for 42 years. He enjoyed riding in his truck, hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and watching The Young and the Restless. Pop was a great cook, and his most loved dish was spaghetti. He was a very giving man and loved spending time with his family. Pop will be remembered for being a quiet man with a kind and very giving heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his brothers, Steven LeGrand and wife Mary Ann, and Russell LeGrand and wife Dianne; nieces, Jolene Boudreaux and spouse Robert, Dawn Menard and spouse Blake, and Leslie Chandler and spouse Troy; godchild, Brandy Wiltz and spouse Chad; nephews, Travis LeGrand and Codi LeGrand and spouse Courtney; 6 great nieces; 6 great nephews; his cousin and dear friend, Billy Boy LeGrand and spouse Monique; and two sisters-in-law, Suzette LeGrand and Faye Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Joseph and Enola Amy LeGrand; brothers, Joseph, Gursey, and Roland "Yan" LeGrand; and nephews, Jonas and Joey LeGrand. Pallbearers will be Travis LeGrand, Codi LeGrand, Blair Scrantz, Gaige Dugas, Robert Boudreaux, and Taylor Wiltz. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven LeGrand, Russell LeGrand, William "Bill" LeGrand, Jonathan Boudreaux, Bryson Periou, and Skylor Wiltz.
