Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Randy P. LeBlanc , 66, who passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am until 12:45 pm. A rosary will be prayed by Rose Green and Jane Guidry at 6:00 pm on Friday.Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Readers will be Andi Kate Guidry and Jessica Dugas. Randy was the proud owner of both Tri-City Services Directional Drilling Company and Pont Breaux's Cajun Restaurant. He was a retired fireman of 40+ years with the Breaux Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, a Mason with Breaux Bridge Lodge #476, a Shriner, and was crowned Crawfish King in 2015. Randy was passionate about Cajun culture and music. He had a big heart and believed in his community and he would do anything to help others. His hobbies included, going to the casino, playing golf, hunting, fishing, playing cards with his friends, and especially cooking for his family. Family was important to him, but most of all, his grandchildren. Randy will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Brittney LeBlanc Guidry (Beno); son, Blasien LeBlanc (Shelbe); grandchildren, Lola Grace Guidry, Andi Kate Guidry, Lila Grace and baby Bosten LeBlanc on the way; and his loving significant other, Gerrie Martin, and her son, Ryan (Ashley), daughter, Jessica (Jerrod), and her grandchildren, Leo, Savanna, and Dakota.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest "Neg" and Ruth Lou Doré LeBlanc; and brother, Larry James LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Johnny LeBlanc, Mark LeBlanc, Dayne Green, Rickey Perez, Ryan Maturin, and Robert Copley.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital for the exceptional care given to Randy.
