New Iberia - Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia for Rayette Girard McNett, 50, who passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, in New Iberia. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 8:30 am until 11:30 am at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A native of New Iberia, Rayette was born on July 19, 1967 and was a lifelong resident of New Iberia. She worked at Bon Creole Restaurant and she enjoyed drinking coffee and taking care of her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Harold McNett, Sr. of New Iberia; daughter, Amy Alleman of New Iberia; son, Eugene Alleman, Jr. of New Iberia; step daughter, Desere McNett of Krotz Springs; step son, Harold McNett, Jr. of New Iberia; brothers, Joseph LeBlanc of New Iberia, Jerry Boudreaux of New Iberia, Neil LeBlanc of Leesville, Randy Derouen of Erath, Raymond Landry of New Iberia; sisters, Wanda LeBlanc of New Iberia, Virginia LeBlanc of Lafayette, Connie Collins of New Iberia, Donna Landry of New Iberia, Kathy Landry of Coteau, Priscilla Borres of New Iberia; grandchildren, Isaiah McNett, Micah Dysart; and her beloved dogs, Oscar and Tiny. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Girard, mother, Mathilda Girard, brothers, Dalton LeBlanc, Johnny "Poncho" Owens, James LeBlanc, Herbert LeBlanc, Ricky LeBlanc, sisters, Theresa LeBlanc, and Barbara Landry. Pallbearers will be Willie Collins, Bill McNett, Bryan Longman, Raymond Landry, Roland Duhon, and Lance Arceneaux. Honorary pallbearers include Dave Guidry, and Davey May.
