Raymond Cormier

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville, for Raymond Cormier, 85, who passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018, at The Carpenter House -St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Saturday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Bourque Cormier of St. Martinville; son, Merlin Cormier; daughters, Paulette (Dale) Vice and Lisa Cormier; brother, Randell (Louda) Cormier; sister, Regina Theriot; his grandchildren, Merrill Cormier, Mindy Davis, Brandy Guidry, John Vice, Jr., Brittney, Blaire, Brooke, and Reggie Cormier; 12 great grandchildren; and a special friend Margie Ledet and her husband Adam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Martha Guidry Cormier; and his sister, Genevieve Meyers.
