Raymond Paul Peltier

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Raymond Paul Peltier, 34, who passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 am until 9:45 am on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Deacon Ken Soignier will conduct the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Raymond enjoyed music and loved playing the bass guitar and drums. He also enjoyed playing softball and was an avid collector of Baseball cards. He is survived by his father, Larry Joseph Peltier of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Jude Peltier and his wife, Lynsey, of Cecilia; his godchild, Noah James Peltier of Cecilia; and his uncle, Anthony "Tony" Melancon of Los Angeles, CA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Michelle Melancon Peltier; maternal grandparents, Clarence "Bloc" and Annie Lou Angelle Melancon; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Virginia Peltier. Pallbearers will be Donnie Louviere, Troy Angelle, Chet Peltier, Chad Peltier, Cory Peltier, and Aaron Marks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jude Peltier and Noah Peltier.
