Raymond "Pop Coco" Roy Thibodeaux

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Raymond Thibodeaux, 78, who passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Tuesday by Rebecca LeBlanc. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers will be Brenda Thibodeaux and Teryn Thibodeaux. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Raymond was part owner and operator of Supreme Contractors for many years. After this, he worked as an oilfield consultant until his retirement. Raymond had a kind heart and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. As a pastime he loved playing golf and cards, and cooking for his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Fay (Kerry) LeBouef and Kristie (Chad) Frederick; son, Chad Thibodeaux; brother, Floyd (Brenda) Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Corey (Teryn) Thibodeaux, Jeremy (Nicole) LeBouef, Justin LeBouef, Austin Frederick, Kylie (Scott) Morgan, Brianne (Jessie) White, Lance Thibodeaux and Seth Thibodeaux; great-grandchildren, Chandler LeBouef, Landon LeBouef, Elise LeBouef, Parker Morgan, Ellery Morgan, Jett LeBouef, Elle LeBouef, Mace LeBouef, Cye Thibodeaux, Che Thibodeaux, Cyd Thibodeaux, Taj Thibodeaux and Tia Thibodeaux; special friend, Yvette Pellerin; and his favorite pets, Moto and Harley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Patin Thibodeaux; sons, Dale Thibodeaux and Dwayne Thibodeaux; parents, Cleff "Black" Thibodeaux and Enola Landry Thibodeaux; and sister, Florine Guidry. Pallbearers will be Floyd Thibodeaux, Corey Thibodeaux, Justin LeBouef, Austin Frederick, Kerry LeBouef and Chad Frederick.
