Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Raymond Thibodeaux, Sr., 75, who passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. David Broussard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kim Thibodeaux. Gift Bearers will be Jessie Thibodeaux, Misti Denais, and Christon Wagnon. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Raymond loved his job as a tug boat captain. As a pastime he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and cooking. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lois W. Thibodeaux of Rockport, TX; five sons, Kevin Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, Mark Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, Alton Thibodeaux of Houston, TX, Raymond Thibodeaux, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, and Gary Chauvin and wife, Brenda, of Crowley; two daughters, Theresa Chauvin of Franklin, and Wendy Lobrey and husband, Lee, of Butte LaRose; two step daughters, Karen Luco of Lockhart, TX, and Shannon Rowen of Rockport, TX; his brother, Lawrence Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Joyce Meche and husband, Steven, of Breaux Bridge, Mable Moscarilla and husband, Joe, of New Orleans, Mildred Soignier of Broussard, and Linda West and husband, Ray, of North Carolina; a step brother, Bernel Martin and wife, Pat, of Crowley; 13 grandchildren, Misty Denais, Jessie Thibodeaux, Cody Thibodeaux, Christon Wagnon, Noah Wagnon, Joshua Wagnon, Dominique Dugas, Becky Chauvin, Alaina Chauvin, Gabby Thibodeaux, Austin Thibodeaux, Chrissy Chauvin, and Lori Cavarrubias; and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Judy Chauvin; 2nd wife, Barbara L. Thibodeaux; his parents, Leo and Blanche Babin Thibodeaux; three brothers, Earl, Dennis, and Lionel Thibodeaux; and two sisters, Mary Ann Usie and Jeanne Berard. Pallbearers will be Mark Thibodeaux, Ronnie Thibodeaux, Jessie Thibodeaux, Shane Denais, Gary Chauvin, and David Davila.
