Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Rebecca Broussard Anderson, 48, who passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
""Becky,"" as she was known to her family and friends, enjoyed painting, drawing, cooking, baking and playing pokeno. ?She especially loved the time she would spend with her children and grandchildren. ?She was employed with Wal Mart for 9 years as a Customer Service Manager. ?All who frequented WalMart expressed her genuine and unforgettable personality, which will truly be missed.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Anderson Champagne, III, of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Erica M. Begnaud and her husband, Todd, and Monica Me'yon Anderson, all of Breaux Bridge; her mother, Shirley T. Broussard, of Breaux Bridge; her mother-in-law, Marsha White; her brothers, Murphy A. Broussard, Jr. and Jacob Broussard, both of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Patricia B. Scheonfelder and her husband, Lance, of Farmersville, and Jennifer M. Theriot and her husband, Davis, of Parks; her grandchildren, Luke J. Begnaud and Skylee M. Begnaud, both of Breaux Bridge; and her godchildren, Jandi D. Angelle of Breaux Bridge, Willis Paul Courville and Dustin Paul Courville, both of Loreauville, and her sister, Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Murphy A. Broussard, Sr.; her father-in-law, Frank Champagne, Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Trosclair, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Broussard, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Pallbearers will be Roy J. Broussard, Willis Paul Courville, Sr., Willis Paul Courville, Jr., Oreste Toucheck, Jr., Davis Theriot, Jr., and Aurelien ?Orie? P. Courville.
Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Anderson Champagne, III, Murphy A. Broussard, Jr., Isaac M. Broussard, and Gary D. White.
