Rev. Kennith Robert Hotard, Sr.

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, on Saturday, February 20, 2016, the House of Victory Church, 1303 W. St. Peter Street, in New Iberia, for Rev. Kennith Robert Hotard Sr., 75, who passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the House of Victory Church, 1303 W. St. Peter Street, in New Iberia, from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon. Rev. Hotard was born on September 10, 1940 in New Orleans to Theo and Hilda Sigue Hotard, and was a resident of Patterson. He was a Tent Evangelist and had his own radio ministry. An avid LSU fan, Rev. Hotard was a member of the Living Word of Faith Fellowship. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Poole Hotard; sons, Kennith Robert Hotard, Jr. and wife Tammy of New Iberia, Mark Thomas Hotard and wife Jennifer of New Iberia, Scott Thomas Hotard and girlfriend Kasha Perez of New Iberia, Chris Darren Hotard of Buda, Texas, Danny Joe Hotard and wife Christine of Rosenberg, Texas, Allen Hamilton Hotard and wife Tara of Covington, Eric Robert Hotard and wife Jessica of Youngsville, Michael Raymond Hotard of New Iberia; sisters, Jackie Brown and husband Andrew of Patterson, Sheryl Hotard of Baton Rouge, Judy Bennett of New Iberia; brothers, Theo Hotard and wife Sherry of Berwick, Keith Hotard and wife Shelia of Berwick, Donald Hotard of Coteau; grandchildren, Sarah Hotard, Jennifer Munsch, Marissa Hotard, Kiley Hotard, Amber Suire, Jeremy Hotard, Tyler Hotard, Robert Primeaux, Corey Hotard, James Hotard, Courtney Hotard, Christian Prater, Marissa Prater, Autumn Jones, Brittany Derouen, Hannah Hotard, Haille Hotard, Brett Hebert, Myla Perez, Malee Perez, Riley Hotard, Seth Hotard, Maci Hotard, Kaleigh Hotard, Brooke Hotard; and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Hotard, and a great grandson, Samuel Bourque. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hotard, Tyler Hotard, Robert Primeaux, Cory Hotard, James Hotard, Seth Hotard, and Josh Vidaurri.
