Rhona Judice Barras

St. Martinville - Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, in St. Martinville for Rhona Judice Barras, 78, who died on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at her residence in St. Martinville. Fr. Austin Leger, pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, will conduct the services. ?Gift bearers will be her grandchildren, Angela, Aaron and Rebecca. Mrs. Barras enjoyed reading novels of many sorts. ?She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchild and friends. Survivors include her husband, Nolan P. Barras of St. Martinville; her son, Vincent Barras of St. Martinville; her daughters, Inez Barras and Tracie B. Renard both of St. Martinville; her brother, L.J. (Poop) Judice; her grandchildren, Angela Rockefeller of Destrehan, Aaron Barras of Oklahoma and Rebecca Renard of St. Martinville; and her great grandchild, Nolan Rockefeller of Destrehan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Desire and Inez Mire Judice; her twin brother, Roland and her brother, Donald Judice. A gathering of remembrance will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home, 112 New Market St., St.Martinville, from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 until service time. ?A rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Donations may be made in Mrs. Barras name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
