Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, February 10, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Richard J. LeBlanc, 78, who passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Sunday and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Rose Green and Jane LeBlanc. Gift bearers will be grandchildren. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. He is survived by his sons, John "Johnny" LeBlanc (Erica) and Mark LeBlanc (Cathy); daughter, Kristen Dupuis (Ben); grandchildren, Jordan LeBlanc, Amelia LeBlanc, Malena LeBlanc, Beau Michael LeBlanc, and Alyssa Dupuis; sisters, Mary Jane LeBlanc, Willa Mae "Toot" Knott (Richard), and Rose Ann Green; mother-in-law, Beulah Perazzo; and his sister-in-law, Sheila Lott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Perazzo LeBlanc; parents, Odon and Clara Blanchard LeBlanc; brothers, Dorcineau P. LeBlanc and Ernest P. LeBlanc; and sisters, Viola Menard and Helen Lasseigne. Pallbearers will be Jordan LeBlanc, Dayne Green, Timmy Lasseigne, Kerry Lott, Randal Lott, and George "Poncho" Menard Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Michael LeBlanc, Tommy Lasseigne, Randy LeBlanc, Nolan Menard, and Ben Dupuis.
