Richard James Thibodeaux

Parks - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Richard James ""Hock"" Thibodeaux, 63, who died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Thibodeaux was a member of Pelba Hunting Club for 30 years. Survivors include his mother, Catherine S. Thibodeaux of Parks; his fianc?e, Linda Trahan of St. Martinville; three sons, Richard ""Ricky"" Jerrel Thibodeaux and his wife, Melissa of Lafayette, Benjamin Bryant Thibodeaux of New Orleans, and James Walter Thibodeaux and his wife, Dacia of Parks; one daughter, Katharine ""Karen"" Thibodeaux Stelly and her husband, Mark of Parks; two brothers, Tommy Thibodeaux of Parks and Ronnie Thibodeaux of Lafayette; and five grandchildren, Chandler and Emily Thibodeaux, Cody and Logan Stelly, and Gavin Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Thibodeaux; his wife, Jerrie Beasley Thibodeaux; his daughter, Jamie Lynn Thibodeaux; and his nephew, Trent Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Pallbearers will be Ricky Thibodeaux, James Thibodeaux, Ben Thibodeaux, Mark Stelly, Blaine Thibodeaux, Trey Thibodeaux, Tommy Thibodeaux, and David Beasley. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
