Ricky Joseph Demouchette

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, on Friday, October 5, 2007, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Ricky Joseph ""Little Ricky"" Demouchette, 33, who passed away on Monday, October 1, 2007 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Rev. Fr. Aaron Melancon, pastor of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral service. Ricky attended Cecilia High School and enjoyed sports, especially football and lifting weights. Survivors include his parents, Ricky and Linda D. Alexander, of Breaux Bridge; his son, Ricky Sam, of Carencro; four brothers, Kendrick Thompson, Harry Lee Thompson, and Spencer Thompson, all of Breaux Bridge, and Jonathan Demouchette, of Calif.; one sister, Lacie Alexander, of Breaux Bridge; his maternal grandfather, James Boyd, of Cecilia; and his paternal grandmother, Alma Alexander, of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rena Boyd; his uncle, James Boyd, Jr.; and his aunt, Theresa Demouchette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
